I’m off to Santa Ynez this weekend for a taste of wine and sunshine.  I have a feeling the people of Solvang have been needing some good pickles.  I may have to bring a few samples.  And in between all the pickling, my partner in food and other goodness and I have been dabbling with bread making, courtesy of Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day.  Soon we’ll never have to leave the house.  (Perhaps it’s time to start figuring out how to make bathtub gin?)
