Pickles On Wheels

A certain food blogger I know well–who’s off to the International Food Blogger Conference in Seattle this weekend–recently came across a fellow pickler on twitter and passed on the information.  Grillo’s Pickles has a good handle on New England’s pickle needs, selling his dills in many Whole Foods and other markets throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut.  What struck me in particular was the pickle cart–brilliant!  And, certainly, the pickle suit.  What better way to advertise your product than to dress up like it?

From the cart, Mr. Grillo lays claim to making “the best pickles in the world.”  Having never tried them, I can’t attest to that statement, but I will say that his is the only pickle I’ve known to wear flip flops.
