The "Quickle"

Sorry for the gap, folks.  A brief tango with a nasty cold left me unable to type complete sentences for several days.  But I am back and just in time because, as promised, I started in this past weekend on my debut pickle, the refrigerator pickle.  And, also as promised, it has earned a more compelling name, the “quickle.”
It will be ready for tasting this evening–now that’s a quick pickle (see how that all comes together?)
Hope you enjoy some shots of the process; tomorrow I will share more, depending on what I find this evening in the refrigerator, good or bad.  They certainly look good sitting there on the shelf.  Stay tuned for results.
